large files in user area -- necessary?

Today I was configuring a new desktop. While transferring the user data for the enhanced client, I noticed two very large files. Here is the directory:

Are the two ".uod" files necessary? I'm guessing the extension stands for "ultima online dump", but that's a guess. I don't remember the game crashing.

I have the same ones. I am guessing it is a cache for houses and such. Anyway, thats not very large, only 52mb per shard. Mine are around 51.

Aren't the uod files the layout for the desktops?

I'm not sure though, I haven't messed around with the SA client too much.

Yes, those are desktop config files. I have a program that watches for files changing, those are changed upon logout.
