You have to the the Lever Puzzle with 4 other folks. Also, once you get into the room, the lamp post needs to be stolen. Bring some orange petals or pots as the room quickly fills with Poison.

Well you do get teleported, actually. Remember to have your thief (this thief must have at LEAST 100 skill for even a tiny chance to steal: 110 skill fails alot too, 115 - 120 skill is actually pretty much needed - use jewelry for extra points) stand on the centre tile. Then either: have the other 4 people pull the lever next to the tile THEY are standing on, one at a time, or your thief can cast telekenisis on the levers and after you have pulled four levers the statues will speak to you and advise you how many of the levers were pulled correctly. You'll also get pelted with giant boulders so be ready to cast greater heal or use bandies! This is a bit tricky because it doesn't tell you which ones were correct, merely that 0 - 4 were correct. When you get 4 correct, you get teleported into the room and get to steal the lamp. If you open the gold chest a (wanderer?) of the Void (I've been away from game 3 years, but started ten years ago) will appear and you'll have to kill it: not an easy thing for a thief! Lastly, after you have your lamp...remember to exit the room via the teleporters along the North wall. You can't miss them. Good luck!
