(Player Event) Krampus Eve 12/24/22

The PAWS Soulforge will be hosting an event on Christmas Eve entitled: [Krampus Eve] for any persons that find themselves not having anyone to spend the holiday season with, and specifically for them.
Though this event is for everyone who happens to make it online though.

Time: 8pm - 9pm pst
Location: Britain Christmas Tree

Event: Krampus Eve

There will be presents delivered to all participants who attend the event, as long as they hand in a rune to their home and their house has a mail box of some kind to receive gifts.
These presents will be delivered during the middle of the night by Krampus himself.

They can include vet reward monster statues, rare hue butterflies pixie lanterns, Unicorn statues etc. Depending on how many runes I receive, will determine how many gifts are in each package.

When handing Krampus a rune to your house, you will receive in return [A Christmas Card], [A Holiday Greeting] or [A Krampus Card], that is featured in the movie short, with the poem written by Palm Copenhagen. [Krampus Claws Is Coming To Town]



You will also receive a bottle of wine to celebrate the event. [Krampus Eve 2022]




Valkyries the operator of the Dragon Soulforge from the fantasy book series [Sandals of Time] will be in attendance
placing small tables near or around the Christmas tree in Britain.



Krampus then will be walking around and placing items on the tables during the event. They will include gifts sets, Chocolate Nutcrackers and of course an assortment of drinks in specialty glasses, mugs and goblets. All hand crafted by Krampus himself.

The gift sets will also include a special edition version of the 2nd installment of book series for Sandals of Time entitled: [Star of Zara]. It will be a re-mastered version that also includes the prelude as the first chapter, which is called "Of Clocks & Time"













At the conclusion of the event there will be a raffle just as there was with the event by The Archlich for Thanksgiving.

A Dice and Cup will determine the winners so that means 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12 are the numbers that players can select. This is a first come first serve. So as soon as the event starts I'll take down the list of what persons are selecting what numbers.

The prizes are going to be Krampus Stars and Recipes.

Prize 1 Gets to select 1 remaining item *goes last*
Prize 2 Gets to select 1 remaining item *goes second to last*
Prize 3 Gets to select 1 star and 1 recipe *picks third*
Prize 4 Gets to select 1 star and 1 recipe *picks second*
Grand Prize: Gets to select 2 stars and 2 recipes *picks first*

I have assembled these stars and recipes but should be more and I'm hopeful to find a candied staff
to toss in the mix, but this is the raffle container so far:



=[Event Conclusion]=
At the end of the event, after all the prizes have been handed out...all the runes have been collected...and all the crafted items requested have been made, then there will be screen shots available at the [Solstice Stag] in Britain, as long as the display is still on display.

There Krampus will pose for pictures for anyone who wants them, and you can tell Krampus to say any line that you would like for the picture as long as its not cussing or something inappropriate.

I have an update for the raffle at the end of the event.

The prize chest will include 5 Krampus Stars and 5 crafting recipes:



The Recipes are as follows:

1. Candied Staff
2. Krampus Minion Earrings
3. Shield Orb
4. Shield Orb
5. Bladed Whip

Raffle Rules:
*A Dice and Cup will determine the winners and those results will be between 2-12.
*Players can select any number not already taken once the event starts at 8pm pst
*This selection is a first come first serve basis, until all the numbers have been assigned.
*At 9pm pst Krampus will initiate the rolling process to determine who won
*There will be 5 winners and the first winner will go last in the prize selection process.
*The last person to win, is the Grand Prize Winner and they will get to select first.

Prize selection order:
First Winner: Gets the last remaining item in the chest
Second Winner: Gets to pick between the last two items in the chest. This should be both a star and a recipe as an option available to them.
Third Winner: Gets to pick one star and one recipe, selects third in the process.
Fourth Winner: Gets to pick one star and one recipe, selects second in the process.
Fifth Winner: Grand Prize will be a selection of two stars and two recipes of their liking and they select first.

Pacific Community,

The gift sets that Krampus will be periodically dropping on the tables that Valkyries places during the event, will include a re-mastered copy
of the book Star of Zara, part of the Sandals of Time adventure series.

Star of Zara is series 2 of 6 of the entire story being told.

I have included the PDF file of the re-mastered volume, which is the basis for the movie short and the poem "Kramapus Claws Is Coming to town".

Not everyone enjoys flipping through 200 pages of in game books, so here is the none game version, for your reading enjoyment.

Once the event is finished, I will include a copy of this in the official [The PAWS Soulforge] tribute house and book event thread. Eventually as the entire story
unravels and is told, as the Pacific server gets their chance to participate with that story telling, then the entire series will be released to all of the gaming community.

The thread [The PAWS Soulforge] is the living and constant evolution process for the stories, much in the way that the house itself is also produced in this likeness.
The purpose of this is to display everything, from mistakes to the average to the great and as it is fine tuned for you, all of that process stays entirely transparent.
For that is the intended purpose of the thread and the book event. A contributing evolution of sorts.

Merry Christmas!

The Krampus Eve Event turned out very well. Krampus and Valkyries where busy dropping a few fun items to celebrate the evening.
Some with of value and others with less.

Although Krampus did deliver a few sawed off body parts during the event...outside of this, it was relatively tranquil and festive. Those
inclinations of deceit and despair by Krampus were kept at a minimum.

The only casualties reported for the evening in fact, was the following instance....

R.I.P little gingerbread man....

The conclusion of the event saw pictures being taken with Krampus at the [Solstice Stag]



And the governor of the city of Britain can be seen handing Krampus a Christmas Carol, which is now included at the library display for this event.

During the night Krampus and his minions collected their assortment of gifts to hand out to all the citizens who made the "Nice List".
Making the "Nice list" required those in attendance to hand Krampus a rune to their house, and have a working mail box.



Krampus also took the liberty to add one or two, few more names to the "Nice List" so as to delivery all the presents that he and his cohorts had collected this season.
Among those few who where added by hand, were the servers EM, EM Ashmedai, for all his hard work writing and story telling for the events that he has done this year.

Krampus delivered all his presents except one who did not have the security set correctly on their mail box, at this following location for the player Gregory. The present would not go into the mail box and
so it could not be delivered.


If anyone knows the player Gregory, please inform them that there is a present waiting for them
if we can manage to connect that person back up with Krampus.

The Curator of the library in Ter Mur, [Curator Aurelius], the eldest son of The Archamge Guildmaster, who operates and runs the [The Library of The Archmage Guildmaster],
Located just East of the moongate portal in Ter Mur has already displayed the Krampus Eve 2022 event on the second floor. If you would like to view this or the rest of the contents of the house
then the location for this building is as follows:



The front of the building looks like this, so you know you found the correct location. There are two park benches out front, on the western (left) bench is a teleporter to [The PAWS Soulforge]


Here players can find on the second floor the [Christmas Carol book]
from the governor of Britain, [A Krampus Card] poem and seasons greeting, the [Nice List], the Event raffle winners and of a gift set that was seen handed out during the event itself.

The Curator has also secured the new display for the release of [Star of Zara *special edition]. That release was also included in the gift sets handed out during the event. This can be viewed on the first floor.

Feel free to explore the building as it is open 24 hours a day for the general public.

On the main floor, all of the stories so far of the epic adventure series [Sandals of Time] are on display in addition to the currently found books, by The Archmage and The PAWS Soulforge, written by The Old Ones.


To explore the house, if you so wish, makes use of a teleporter system found in the bottom right corner of the main hall.

The teleporter tile to the left in this picture, takes you to the basement, the second floor which is straight down and the roof which is to the right of Krampus.

the second floor balcony has both [An Archlich Thanksgiving] Event display the [Krampus Eve] Event display and in the middle is the current artifact display from the book series, displaying the 4 signets of power. This is also the floor that Dakari had recovered the bones of Durendal in the movie [Rise of The Archlich]

The First two bookcases are the movie props from that movie and the movie short entitled [Krampus Claws Is Coming to Town]

The basement and the roof are set aside for future releases and events. The basement will house a display for the upcoming 4th book series release entitled [Toccata & Feud]. The display for these books is already designed and ready for the installment, which should be roughly around the release of the next major UO event.

Eventually as the story unfolds, the roof location will house the 5th series release and the 6th has not yet been determined. Still though, all of the house is explorable.

The Christmas Decorations at the other location, The PAWS Soulforge will stay up for another month and of course the Christmas Room, which is found in both the movie short [Krampus Claws Is Coming to Town] and in the book series [Star of Zara] is a permanent display there. That house is the tribute house to the city of PAWs and the keeper of memories of another time.
