Over the past couple of weeks about half a dozen people have asked me in game for assistance on KR.
For those of you who have it and are not playing because it seems a touch daunting to relearn a new client I was wondering if you would be interested in some 'Learn KR' lessons 'in game'. It would include stuff like:
*going through the menu's what each of the tabs mean, what each of the settings does etc.
* how to set waypoints on your maps, how to put in tmap and sos locations
* how to set up macro's and actions, help in creating dress, equip, 'say', healing, mining, fishing, crafting, spell and training macros.
* how to set up templates that you can copy to your characters.
Although all is pretty much covered on Spellweave.com on the KR link, it seems that 'showing' on a more individual basis makes it a lot easier for some to learn it as a lot of people find it easier to 'do' rather than 'read' stuff, plus you don't get the frustration if it doesn't work first up and you can ask what you are doing wrong etc. A lot of you may have had problems with it when it first came out and haven't been back since. If so maybe you want to give it another go? I know a lot of the bugs that were in it to start with have been addressed so if you haven't been in it in a while I think you might be surprised with some of the changes.
If a few people are interested I am happy to run something out of the Emporium auction house in Luna in the evenings or on the weekend for a couple of hours at a time to help anyone who wants it. Perhaps those 'miners' out there would like to see how darn quick KR is to mine and how simple it is to set up, stuff like that.
If you haven't run KR in ages or even 'ever' then you would need to be up to date with the current patches. Other than that if you are totally 'new' to KR I think I can get you up and running in one or two sessions now I am pretty much familiar with it and that is really all you need to take the 'pain' out of it lol.
Anyways, any feedback is welcome before I set aside some time and dates.
