I believe I read somewhere on uoforums that the Knights Armour was recieving mods in pub. 53.

Can anyone confirm this, as well as list the changed mods?

I read it as well, but it was a post by Draconi on the Stractics forums, so...

10 HCI, 10 DCI, all 70's a bit of HPR, but I don't remember how much.

Not sure of the full list, wish I had it myself

hrm. sounds decent but is it usable is the question:rolleyes:

if it has like 1 hpr per piece I could see it being a decent suit. after donating 600k points it better be worth it!

Dunno, but it looks like it should be workable with a few additional item slots that it doesn't use...

Ring and Bracelet, Cincture, Primer of Arms Talisman (DI + HPR), Weapon and maybe shield if used, quiver if used, and so on.

It's not a "God Suit" but it will be better than the useless pile it starts out as.

The question remains though... this is supposed to be a "tank" suit. Does that mean that melee players FINALLY get a chance to create a tank character so that the tanking ability isn't limited to only tamers' meat shields?

That will be MY test on the quality of the suit as a whole (as well as the future of the game IMO)

+ All 70's Resists
+ HP: +12
+ HP Regen: 2
+ Mana Regen: 2
+ DCI: 10%
+ HCI: 10%

Uses the six main armor slots: chest, legs, arms, gloves, neck and head. This leaves the ring, bracelet, cloak, talisman, apron, sash, ear and foot slots open. (Not counting the two hands.)

Let's see, with the Jewelry pair I've set aside from this suit, it should give me:

70 resists
+12 HP
HP Regen 6
Mana Regen 2
DCI: 21
HCI 31
Damage Increase 20 + weapon mods
Str +10
Int +9

We'll see how that works when it comes online.

Do the quivers affect non-archery or have they been tweaked to be limited to affect archery weapons only?

What I think is cool is that they dumped the stupid virtues. What was that about anyway? Virtues? Bold move by the devs to dump that goofy idea. What was virtue about, anyway? One quest, a turn in, some anniversery gifts, and then a giveaway? Then you get a suit that takes like 15 slots to get 70 resist and is virtuous somehow.

Virtue is rightfully buried once and for all and now there is this better suit and all we have to do is kill stuff and loot and turn in. That is true virtue to me. I measure virtue by counting the number of comptroller adding machines a person hands in.

Display Modes -> Threaded

But the Threaded functionality is really less efficient and less user friendly than earlier boards.

It seems fair I guess. Would be a downy for bushido users since a shield would be out of the question for additional mods. But as it stands, it may be alright for practical dungeon and peerless spawning.

Talisman: 2hpr
Crimson: 2hpr
Shield: 2hpr
Suit as a whole: 2hpr
Brace of Health: 10hpr

+ other items. I guess the suit has potential in some aspects.

5 DCI would be better than nothing as the cloak slot would be unused (Vet Reward cloak being useless with the Knight's Set).

thanks for the tip, that is like genealogy chart, but it'll do.

What's up? That virtue suit stinks compared to this one. It seems out of whack to me. A turn-in? What is that about? The Virtue stuff seemed to have something connected to the whole thing.

But thinking on it... a Knight who kills a lot of stuff and hands in the loot is not necessarily virtuous or without virtue, but he is a fighting machine, so he should be rewarded with a suit that has a fighting chance. A virtuous person is like a prig, so he gets priggish stuff to show off how virtuous he is.

I'd put them on par being as the Virtue set is Self Repair and Blessed and the new armor isn't.

I'm sure the Dex and Mage suits will have their own give and take as well.

I have a Virtue Suit and a Knight's Suit and may get the Dexxer Suit, we'll see.

I think they'll all have their place and builds.

Or, if you choose to go without the bracelet of health for more comprehensive bonuses....

Resilient Bracer is good (adds more DCI (10%), 5 HP and 2 HPR), and the +15 Resist skill & Physical resists can offset your losses should you have the need to cast Protection on yourself.

Are they Blessing it like the Virtue Set?
