EM Event King Blackthorn Calls for Investigation Into Possible Plague

Notice to all Investigators:
The King has tasked me with investigating the source of rumors regarding a strange illness that has appeared in Britannia. I ask that you meet me at Castle Blackthorn to receive your assignment.

This event will count towards the "Investigator System". Please read the book on "Reports" that is placed next to Thorpe. Initial reports are due by the 8th, while follow-ups can be filed throughout the month of February.​

The first place Thorpe sends us. If I am in the right spot the things that I need to observe are up against a server line area. Really hard to get anything done cause of the server line is messing up you and the things you are observing.

Recognizing the difficulty some are having, Thorpe is willing to share his thoughts if you simply ask him for a "hint".

Also, I've extended the initial deadline 2 days.

Found the hint. Thank you. Unfortunately, he says " Ah, yes, I have heard of what you are referring to and have seen the area myself*** " He stops talking after that. Is he okay ? I did get him to say one more thing but it was a question he asked me that he would not respond to, any words at all. Stumped

Yeah, I'm stuck at the same spot. He won't seem to say anymore and the area itself doesn't yield any obvious hints. Tried gathering specimens but no luck.

Nevermind, found the magic word to get Vincent to tell me more. Let's see how far this goes...


Arggh..these quests can be so frustrating. But it's nice when you make a bit of progress. Any hint on when we've gone as far as we can go? Or will that be obvious? I'm stuck again.

Thank you Irulia, I went back and put on my magic thinking cap and got him to talk more Just got home from work and will try to advance some more this afternoon after I awaken from my regeneration chamber.
