Kinetic Eater =/= Physical Damage

I was wearing a Ranger's Cloak which has Kinetic Eater (the only item I have with an Eater property), and my son was playing around and hitting me with his Yumi, which is 60% Fire/40% Poison damage. However, I was still getting a message for Damage Conversion. So it seems Kinetic Eater might not include just Physical damage but any weapon-inflicted damage.

Was he using consecrate weapon by any chance?

he was using cons weapon and your physical was your lowest? OUCH!!!

I was only wearing two pieces of armor at the time and had Protection on.
