Killing ships.....

the past two days I killed one Orc pirate ship and two smugglers ships on the tokuno shard. I was only able to board and loot one of the smuggler ships. The other two ships, I was unable to board, getting a message telling me I did not have permission to board. I had killed all of the crews on all three ships...disabled them that they could not sale.....so, was up with that?

You have to keep damaging the ships some more - usually about 20 cannon shots. About halfway through the ship shows damage, then bigger damage again at the end. Then you can board.

Ships can become invulnerable sometimes if they cross a server boundary.
