Killing Berzerkers?

Anyone have an idea how to do more than single digit damage to these guys?

I've tried demon slayer, vanq wep, berzerker's scythe, and regular weapons...everything hits him for almost 1-7 dmg at most. Sometimes no damage at all!!!

is there really any point to this now that there are 40 beserkers everwhere?
Seriously?! What the hell are we supposed to do against 10, let alone More than I can count beserkers!
there are literally twice as many people on the normal moonglow side bank sitting than there are people killing on the alternate glow side!

Biggest problem with this event, as I see it, is the relatively small area.
With Magiencia, there was a lot more room to maneuver.

I have a Power Gnarled Staff that is Demon Slayer, it does 7 damage a hit, same as my Exiler does with Con Wep used. Exiler, however is alot faster, so i use it instead. I thought Power/Vanq/Mystic were supposed to be able to somewhat pierce their' magical shielding.

Again, Power/Vanquishing/Mystic weapons do more damage to berserkers than gets displayed.

You only see the total of the physical, fire, cold, poison, and energy damage that you do float up over their heads. The Power/Vanquishing/Mystic weapons also do additional damage to beserkers, let's call it Mystical Damage, that is not reflected in the little floaty numbers (but IS considered for looting rights).

Once again, when fighting berserkers, Power/Vanquishing/Mystic weapons do additional Mystical Damage that the little red floating numbers do not know about.

I wish it was fixed so the proper damaged is displayed. People don't believe it because they don't see the increase in damage. So while 10 other people are attacking the Beserker, I am out damaging all of them because I am the only one carrying the proper weapon. Once people learned about this in Moonglow they went down really fast. It will take a few more days before other players catch on.

That is a rare weapon indeed. Do not lose it as it's probably the best invasion weapon I've seen aside from the undead slayer heavy crossbow that a buddy of mine has. For the Berserker's though, you can't get a whole lot better.

You are doing around 150-200 damage with the staff if it shows 7. However the 7 you show with the Exiler is all your doing with that weapon.

I have a power Demon Slayer Bow.
If you get the last hit on a beserker it shows your real damage....I'm doing 250 a hit with EoO.

No No No they were loot from the Magncia Event. They are "special" as in the do more damager to beserker demons.
They are most definatly not the Pre-AOS weapons.

I use a mystic ubws cleaver with hit 30 stam leech hit 40 mana leech and 40 damage inc fire elemental slayer. No idea when or where I picked that one up but it is probably the best I have seen. UBWS on such a fast mystic wep alone is nuts plus all the leeches and DI on it are pretty uber.

This morning I had a total *OMG LOL* moment. Me with my 40% DI mystic comp bow and another guy sporting a mystic warfork with SSI were taking down the berzerkers in 15 seconds flat.
The spawn was quite light at the time so we had time to manouvre around, and down they went. Could see each hit shave a few pixels of the health

I know the vanquish repeater i have does 3-4 damage per hit and its from old system weather or not there is hidden damage i have no clue some people are saying they are taking them down in 15 seconds and I have yet to see that on ls shard and i have logged atleast 8 hours every day since the start died so many time my account is getting low 3-4 does not sound like much but every other weapon I have demon slayers undead slayers none of these do any damage that i have seen

Dear god I would love to have those mods on my bow BUT doing double damage cause its a Demon slayer on top of he extra "Mystic" ability damage ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!

[/ QUOTE ]The num,ber you're seeing has nothing at all to do with how much actual damage you are doing. 6 damage with a mystic weapon means around 200 per hit. You can tell if you get the killing hit on a berzerker, the last number is the actual damage you are doing.

I'm getting bigger numbers with a night reaper, easily doing 5-6, but then tehre's no extra damage, so that's literally all I'm doing. after a full quiver of bolts the daemon will still be at 75% health. Whereas with a mystic weapon I only see 3-4 damage, but I'm actually doing 150-160 per hit, and I can see each hit on the daemon's healthbar. Only takes maybe 40 arrows to kill one.

The reason we were doing it so fast this morning was the guy with the SSI/HLL mystic warfork doing slightly more damage and keeping it targeting him so I could shoot uninterupted, and with no other spawn around.

Wish the event was like that all the time, I'm usually not up at 5:30 am to play UO, which seems the only time the event is actually fun, before the spawn has built up to stupidity and killed all enjoyment. :/

With my Power Demon Slayer Bow I do 11 or 12 damage per hit with EoO. 9 or 10 without EoO. When I get the killing blow on the demon the number that flies up the screen is the actual damage I am doing. 242 to 250ish.
Do you guys see the real number if you get the killing blow? and if so is it really 200? Cause If you do 200 when it shows 5 then me doing more than double that doesn't make sense that I do 250.
Math hurt.
