Killing a peerless w/o parry

The concept of a sampire/wammy is about leeching life/mana from the monster. By dropping parry and raising tac/anat you're maximizing leeches. Below is what i feel is the best temp for sampire/wammy.

120 weapon (swords/fence)
120 bush
100 spirit
40 necro
120 tactics
120 anatomy
100 chiv

As far as equipment. Mace and shield glasses, fast weapon with high leeches(some people like using weapons that have the feint special, leafblade/bok to name a couple. Di on your gloves and di on your tailsman. Fey leggings and hoi/violet. Nice pair of arms/gorget. With this equipment and the above temp you'll be ready to attempt a peerless. Before doing that tho i'd go fight some paragon balarons.
Playing this temp is like driving a sports car, its wicked. You can be almost dead all three bars are redlined and within a second your back to full life/mana/stamina.
The only advice i can give on running the temp is to hang in and not bail. It takes practice but once you get it down it's a blast.

So which peerless have you done with this template? Is there a video or screenshots of this? To me, this sounds as stupid as "driving a sports car" blindfolded.

Personally, I'd rather not be hit and leach only a little rather than be hit constantly and leach a lot.

Getting missed 35-40% of the time is far better than leeching a couple of more points.

I was running around last night on a guy without parry, and went to take on the bone deamon, that didn't last long. Spriit speak instead of healing is something I will consider, because curse weapon is pretty awesome.

My samurai doesn't have healing/anat and only uses curse weapon to heal, he has 100 SS. I never use the actual skill spirit speak.

I would like to play with soulstones and see the difference 100 anat would make but I doubt it will be anything substantial.

I would immagine without the 120 parry/120 bushido DCI chance I have I would just ditch my 120 swords for 120 archery. I bet you could be fairly effective against melee monsters running around with a bow, especially just nailing moving shot over and over again :p

Parry doesnt work with archery, so you could drop it for anat...but the damage increase is minimal and would be better spent in something like meditation.

Thats why I was saying if he didnt have parry I would use Archery since you will get a lot more...aka stay far away

You have to use curse weapon for heal..Healing takes to long. GL

I used curse weapon, and was using the exiler, I've changed my template around to fit in 110 parry and 100 anatomy/tactics. I don't know why I'm having a problem with this template, I went to try lady mel with this guy and got schooled too, man I wish I could mellee her. I haven't given up on the template yet, and I can farm demon bones in the guardian room like mad on this guy with staff of pyros, I summon a few mirrors with jewels so like 10 guardians spawn at once and spam whirlwind.... anyone out there that can give me some pointers on wraith warrior please pm or icq me... 57206514

IMNSHO the only tip you need is to get parry. Bushido on a dexxer is next to useless without it.

Im new to the bushido thing but came to this forum/thread to seek a little guidance. It actually peaked my interest throwing in necro to the mix.

But since Im not familiar with how the template works..what would the values of this template be?

100 anatomy
100 bushido
80 chivalry
100 healing
120 parry
120 swords
100 tactics

but with bushido, I understand its better to just use high DI vs chivs EOO and CW. So then chiv would be considered the secondary skill used primarily for cure/heal/remove curse and CW if needed (w/o the necessary DI from items)

so as far as armor goes, what should I be looking for? hpr or mr? and DI vs chiv? (which one would be more affective)

Sorry to sound like a noob. Im just trying to understand how its going to work before I try more complex templates.
