Ki-Rin spawn, confirmation please?

Can someone please confirm there should be two in the region of Grimswind Ruins, one on the North West side of the island and one on the North East?

I tamed some there Sunday afternoon, but Sunday night, last night and now I can't find either of them. This on Europa. Are they there on other shards please?

Yes 1 of each Kirin and Unicorn on each side. Often they spawn in the forest area but sometimes they do wander a bit off.

Some people take them away for a little "unofficial" training too.

I don't know what kind of training they could do with one. The place is not hard to ride around and find them. If you tame and keep them it takes time to come back. If you turn it in at the zoo they come back as soon as they hit the door it seems. I do the unicorns there all the time.

There are times they get backed up with them gone though and it takes longer to get them back. That has also happened to me. I play about 3 hr before shard to 3 after.

Petra in the past few days I have noticed at least one ki rin in the woods outside my house, which is just outside the west luna city gate and then south a ways, they have never been there before and caused brief problems for my newly created necro char running from the bank, maybe this poor creature has lost his way and is waiting for you to rescue it!

Interesting observation:
when I handed in the first ki rin from Luna there was a char handing in a unicorn. That char keeps appearing at the ruins and walking round the woods, but every time I get on the same screen as the char it recalls out.

I can't help wondering what I'd be seeing if I were up here with a stealther instead of a tamer.

Aye, it spawns there! Been there meself ta get access to Bedlam. Ye need some Ki-Rin brains, so I've slain a few of 'em.

Its the somewhat old problem ...
If someone leads the tameable spawn away (or tame it and release somewhere else at the same subserver) the original one doesnt respawn. Its very unlikely that a unicorn or ki-rin crosses the rope and leaves that 'island' by itself.
