I fished out an old character, fencer, from an account, but he has 100 necro because everyone said that you had to put 100 on necro to use the vampiric embrace. I remember that I played it very little because I love tamers too much and I didn't like it. I would like to know if anyone can explain to me what the use of vampiric embrasse is.
My skills are these:
Fencing 120 (I like it too much, but at most I change it with sword)
Anatomy 100
Tactics 110.4 -<120
Healing 86.6
Bushido 120
Chivalry 100
Necro 100
Res Spell 21.6. And I have a few points left over.
Many years have passed and I no longer remember why they recommended putting necro. I don't do pvp, I only go to monsters and alone. And I don't like negative Karma. I had thought about eliminating Necro and putting Res Spell 120 in its place. Also eliminating Healing and raising Chivalry. And is Bushido really necessary? What do you think and above all, what is Vampiric embrasse for, I can't find the old posts where with it

You don’t need necro and healing. Vampiric embrace provides a 20% life leach for all damage. So I would do healing or necro. I would use one of the two though. Your healing will be too inconsistent otherwise, unless you do something unusual like a 4/6 paladin.

Bushido has several helpful spells, allows you to honor and perfect against mobs, and lets you parry without a shield. That is one thing you are missing — I don’t see any parry in your template. Please note that if you can get 300 points between your weapon skill, Bushido, and parry, the cost of a weapons special moves like armor ignore are lowered by 10 mana points.

Here’s what I would consider…
120 Weapon
120 Tactics
120 Bushido
100 Chiv
100 Necro or Healing
100 Anatomy or resist (need anatomy if you pick healing)
60 Parry

You’ll obviously have some wiggle room if you have +skills on your suit. My primary sampire is built as follows.

120 Swords
120 Tactics
120 Bushido
120 Chiv (105 real)
100 Resist (85 real)
100 Necro
100 Parry (70 real)

If you really don’t like necro or Bushido, maybe try a shield Paladin? I really like mine. I generally use macing with a hammer pick, but you can use fencing. A leaf blade has feint and armor ignore for its special moves, two of the best in the game. It’s be more defensive, but definitely solid. A leaf blade is also fast, making it much easier to reach 1.25 swing speed. Mine looks like this:

120 Anatomy
115 Healing (100 real)
100 Parry (70 real)

This is the template I like. But with Healing instead of Necro. But Healing is so important? Resisting spell instead of Healing?

Definitely try and see if it works! I worry you won't get enough external healing without using bandages or vampiric embrace. But maybe if you use feint, you'll be tanky enough to be fine.

Okay. then I won't remove Healing. I've been playing for over 20 years but mostly with tamers. On one account I created a fencer character, a sword and a macer but I practically never played them because I prefer tamers. Either a fisher or a treasure hunter This is why I know little or nothing about paladins and warriors in general You made me understand something. Thank you!!!
