Just returned and have a few questions

I have not actively played in over a year but resubbed to check out the new fishing and treasure hunting changes.

1. Have then finished making changes to treasure hunting or is it still in testing on TC1?
2. How much has it changed? I have some threads but they are older so I cannot tell what has changed and what has remained from the original notes. Prior to any changes, I was able to solo level 7 maps.
3. Aside from IDOCs and Events, what are decent ways to earn some gold now?

BUT..They have touted major changes in the treasure hunting specialty. We are all waiting with baited breath. Our greatest concern is the loot table on the new chests. They have posted ..kind of.. that things may be different, we hope for the better. They are working on it.
We now have a new pet the Triton : comes with wres 110-130! Healing that can go to 120 with PS, and magic resist built in 150-190 or so and Dex on birth up to more than 200. Non rideable, and looks like a green lava elemental. More "intensity points" than normally spawning pets and insta-bonding. You buy it from bucs den dealer, with Dubloons, points you make by hunting pirate ships and sea beasts, and enemy light towers! Canons are different now, easier to use. More stuff promised also.
