*update question* How does this perfection stuff work and what does it do?

So can someone plz explain to me the basics of how these chars work. I guess I have to honor my enemy before attacking, but exactly how do I do this and are there macros for this? Also, what are the valuable bushido spells and how do they work? Sorry, I know this is a large request.

thx

You can set a macro up in UO easily to use honor, even in 2D

You go into the macros section of 2D options, add a new macro, select the key to trigger it, and down near the bottom of the drop-down list of actions is

"Invoke Virtue"

Choose it, and another dropdown will appear beside it - choose "honor" from it.

click Apply, and return to playing.

This will give you a targeting cursor for you to pick who you are going to honor. I avoid the commands that would have it honor a set person or opponent, because they don't work all that well. You Do, however, want to make sure that no other action/macro is going on that would target you, as you're triggering the macro, to prevent accidentally honoring yourself.

Its under your game macro setting. Make a macro with the action invoke virtue then on the 2nd line select honor. The KR client is similar

It should bring up cross hairs. Target a creature before anyone else honors it and before it takes damage or buffs.

you must have 50 bush to honor like that

Best spells

Evasion a few sec of greatness with a timer, very usefull but timing is key, use it at the wrong time and you wont have it when you need it.

Lightning Strike replaces your normal attack in pvm and used to get a hld wep to smack someone in pvp so you can uses better wep specials, gives a +50HCI though it caps at 45 and increases the chance of crits.

You don't need Bushido to Honor (to gain honor) - you just need Bushido at 50 to honor and get the Perfection bonuses....

From Stratics:

Any time a Samurai with 50 or more Bushido skill fights an Honored foe, and lands a hit, he gains in Perfection. Perfection gives a damage increase that raises with each step he gains. The number of steps you can gain in perfection is approximately 10, where you will receive the message "You have achieved perfection". At 100 Bushido, each step of Perfection grants a 10% damage increase to your normal attack, thus if you achieve Perfection, you are in fact receiving a 100% damage increase to your attacks (300% damage increase cap applies). Also at 100 Bushido, Perfection grants 100 Luck per level achieved. For a Samurai of 50 skill, each step is a 5% damage bonus and a 50 luck bonus to the target he honored, with a Samurai in training receiving a 1% damage increase and 10 Luck increase to each level of Perfection per 10 full skill points gained, up to 100 Bushido. A missed hit results in a loss of 3 levels of Perfection. At the defeat of your opponent, you also gain back some health, stamina, and mana based on the final level of Perfection you have achieved.
