Just patched Now cant play

I just got a new patch and went to log back in and it says:

Cannot connect to Ultima Online. Please try aagin in a few moments.

So i waited and still cant.

Check the Patch folder to make sure nothing was in it.

Patched on my second computer and can login just fine.

Still unable to even get the game to authenticate the user name and password. I can leave them all blank and still get the same message.

At a guess, I'd say your firewall has detected that the executable has been changed, and is blocking it from accessing the internet

I get that from time to time and I don't know the cause. I just close it down, wait 5-10 minutes and try again and it almost always works.

happened to me too. my many accounts are useless after patching. my roomate is having a fantastic time i might add. ive reinstalled 8th age and 9th anny. neither can ever patch. im pretty sure the last patch messed up windows sockets on select computers. stratics, vent, cod 4 all work great. however after a few fix tries just from in/un installing UO. one of my web browsers doesnt work.

im about to attmpt a dangerous fix. i'll let you know if it works.
