Just got the Rustic Theme Pack - Now, how do i use the Garden Beds!?!?

I placed the bed (large size) & i cant figure out how to use the bloody thing!

Please help help HELLPP!!

Double click seed, target space on bed.

Plant seeds on the 9 spots of the bed (double click the bloody seed things), wait 14 days or so, harvest, profit, repeat.

Now you wait WEEKS for it to spawn all the seeds and resources. Think plants should be full grown in like 5 days. IMHO. It's like 9 days now before we even see a seed outta them.
