Just Cleared 2000 Luck! Need Some Suggestions

With the help of the "Lucky Charm" talisman, I surpassed the 2000 Luck mark; I'm at 2038!

Now, if you fine folks don't mind, I'd like to ask for some suggestions on what monsters to hunt for good loot. My character is a tamer/bard - 120 Taming/Vet/A.Lore/Music/Discord + a decent Greater Dragon pet. I play solo most of the time, and I'm kind of a novice still, even after 72 months of play.

So, ok.. what should I kill?

Greater Dragons could be an option.

Lurg at the painted caves is an option, and the troglodites there will give decent loot as well.
But you need to be careful because Grobu has positive karma, so you will lose karma when killing him. If you have over 20K karma, killing Lurg won't be enough to offset the karma loss from killing Grobu.

Miasma can also be an okay option, white wyrms in Ice (specially Fel Ice) drop some decent looking loot. The bone daemon in Doom also has some good loot and would be doable for a tamer/bard, and you would collect a very shiny amount of golden skulls to sell or trash for turn in points.
The balron down at Blackthorn would also give you some good loot and the odd chance for a minax artie drop.

add bushido and a mage weapon and put lower def and attack ,swing ,luck and slayer . not only will you get extra 1000 luck but your dragon will blow through monsters fast. i run
100 bush
110 mage
85 lore (110 with jewls & bird slayer)
105 tame (115 with jewls)
80 vet (90 with enhanced aids works well)
120 disco
120 music
80 str
90 dex
100 int
i run 2000 luck on suit (900 for statue and 1000 for bush gets me to 3900 at times)
20 hit chance (after you disco you start to hit better)
35 defense (dont really need because dragon should be on monsters first)
100 lrc

sorry dunno why i wrote all that guess greater dragons to fight would be good,i just rather hit the monsters with lower attack and lower defense so it dies faster and im not just healing all day

also i fight wind elementals in shame felucca they die fast with this set up and good loot
i made this suit like 3 years ago before the luck tally, so im sure you can make even better suit with that

Go down to Blackthorn's Dungeon, very back part. There is a room with a single executioner in there. Discord it, and have G-dragon kill it. I've gotten a few legendary artifacts from him now.

I've been killing Miasma for the last week or so since I came back running anywhere from 1000 - 3000 luck (luck statue & perfection) and havent seen a single legendary drop.

Has anybody tried L4 Covetous lately? That's the area at the bottom of the stairs past the first level of monsters, in the room before the cells. I used to get great loot there with a greater dragon, if I only one monster at a time happened to be there. (You need to have a character with honor mark a rune at the top of the stairs - although sometimes you recall in and that room is full of monsters, and then you're out of luck.)

I am afraid those had the same fate as Unbound EVs.
Hippo at Legends is usually hunting there. You can ask him if the loot is still worth it.

We supposed to be getting 1000 luck just being in fel dungeons. Since it doesn't show up on our status bar can anyone tell the difference between fel and Tram?

I've wondered this too. Not only does it not show on the status bar, but it doesn't really seem like the bonus is applied. With ~400 luck + the "bonus", I barely seem to get anything above minor.

check number of item / overall weight. luck either hits, or it doesnt. raising luck only raises your overall chance for luck to "hit" . Like if you have 2k luck, 68percent of corpses will be effected by the luck, the other 32 percent will be as if you had 0 luck. raising your overall luck has diminishing returns, but you eventually get to 100 percent chance at better / more items at 4k luck.

Even with the luck, the "boost" may just be bumping a minor majic item by one notch, or give more of a chance for 5 stam rather than 3 or 4 on jewels. it wont actually make loot "better" just bump up what is possible.

most the legendaries are coming from peerless, or level 7 chests.

key to a luck suit is to be able to handle high end content, or throw it on when boss is about to die. It "helps" with low end stuff, but isnt really that noticable if the majority of loot possibilities is low anyway.

i really dont have a good answer. the stuff that is easy, casual kills just doesnt give great stuff. I would recommend level 7 treasure maps if you can handle it (should be able to on a tamer if you have a separate treasure hunter character)

Ive tried onis, tsuki wolves, succubus, trogs, covetous, misama, swoops, dragons, ancient worms. Only thing i had luck with was killing 1000s of trogs, looking over the loot quickly and finding the occasional 10ssi keepable jewel. i didnt even bother to look at the armor because it was too time consuming and too low of a chance at something keepable.
There is a chance of legendary even on mongbats tho, its just a matter of time.

the way i look at it now, i dont farm just to farm, but the luck helps with something i would already be doing, like keying a peerless, killing misama to get level 6 maps so can get level 7.

Overall, the loot I get from hunting in Fel unravel to more relic frags than the loot I get in tram rule facets.
I have gotten the very odd legendary artie killing White Wyrms in Fel Ice with 740 luck equipped.

I have had gotten legionaries off of Succubus Fel side. I think was around 1-2 per hour. Prolly 5-7 Majors and then quite a few of the lessers. I have not been in weeks and honestly dont remember what my luck was on my suit. I think it was probably around 1300 or so if I had to guess but again purely guessing.
