I would just like to point out that Mesanna specifically outlawed what she called "multi-boxing", that is simultaneously commanding multiple clients to do exactly the same action. This allows you to run multiple identical characters and have them all attack simultaneously, etc; obviously, a total abuse of power. I cannot find the specific UOHerald post regarding this, but you can read about it here.

Well, it seems a certain person is now using a stealth archer in this fashion, five identical ones to be exact (the same ones we killed whilst they afk macroed their skills on Bald Island). Of course, we will not give the character name or their better-know name on these forums, but we have reported this and will continue to do so if it persists. I encourage anyone else who experiences this to do the same.

However, I am sure we will not see this again. The GM/Commanding Lord of this player prides himself on how honourable he is and is very quick to call out others who abuse the rules, and I am sure he will see that this practice will now cease. After all, this person is quite legally providing him with 30-50 votes in the TB elections so that he can continue to deny members of that faction any silver, so why stoop to anything illegal?

The quote specifcially says "Multiboxing is not illegal". Its people who abuse it in combination with macroing. It can be taken several different ways. Regardless, you can run 2 clients at once if you run one with UO Assist (An approved program) and then just open a 2nd UO client directly. This is not considered illegal. If you use an unapproved 3rd party program, then it becomes illegal.

I agree with you in choosing not to use such a thing. Simple fact is there are good people on the shard that simply act with honor even in a game because that's what good honorable people do. Then there are others that do not have the ethical fortitude it takes not to cheat. It's what people without honor do. I have mentioned no names nor guilds. It is a simple statement of fact.
