John and Alma Winchester Spotted Leaving Vesper
Author Unknown
Several weeks ago, based on information learned from a seedy merchant tradesman named Ash Campbell, it was learned that brother and sister, John and Alma Winchester of West Britain, may be responsible for the poisoning of baking flour used at the Good Eats Bakery of Britain. This flour has been determined to be the indentified source of the recent outbreak of The Plague, resulting in innocent citizens becoming enraged, or crazed for no apparent reason. Citizens and adventurers searched the farm house in Western Britain where John and Alma lived but found the two who are still sought for questioning to be missing. The only clues were several strange alchemy books, vials of festering concoctions, several bags of baking flour, and a scribbled note left outside the home mentioning their departure in search of a healer for John’s recent poor health and beginnings of a plague-like sickness.
The south western garrison of Britain’s town guards quickly dispatched word to the guard regiments in other mainland cities. The information included names and a detailed description and profile of John and Alma Winchester that was gathered from nearby farmers in Western Britain upon questioning. Last evening, a courier was dispatched from Vesper, to the town guard Headquarters located just outside Castle Britannia where the ever vigilant, town guard Yosh, was informed that John and Alma Winchester had been spotted leaving Vesper the previous evening, and were expected to arrive in Britain shortly.
Corporal Brackus was overheard this morning issuing orders to other guards in the southwestern garrison, stressing the importance they report for active duty this Thursday evening – John and Alma Winchester were to be found and questioned, and possibly taken into custody for crimes of indiscriminate murder against countless citizens. Any and all citizens who wish to provide additional assistance in this matter of public safety should meet at West Britain Bank.
