Jhelom Fighters

Hi, I play on Oceania and was just trying to hire a fighter from the Jhelom dueling pit, but when i give them the gold nothing seems to happen. I've clicked on them and selected hire, then they've told me how much they charge a day, but when i give the gold over nothing happens and i lose the gold. Doesn't seem to matter how much i give them either.
Not sure what's goin on, do i have to sign up somewhere in Jhelom to be able to hire the fighters?

hirelings at the moment are completley bugged, report them, use correct channels to report it so that they might actually get around to fixing it soon.
