Jewel Value Question

I'm still trying to sort out what I have on my couple chars a bit at a time while trying to have some fun. I did place a house in South Moonglow and bought some deco stuff from the folks who responded to my BOD book post. Unfortunately. I guess the BOD books were out of stock or maybe I just missed them so I'm still looking for them.

Anyways, I was wondering if jewels were worth anything in this day and age. I saw on one of my guys 900+ diamonds and I think 900+ emeralds. I'm certain that I have some other types also.

Thanks for any feedback and I also thought it was cool that Siege still has a NEW guild - I ran into someone from there in Moonglow earlier today.

Not sure about the gems or not cuz I do not imbue, I do know diamonds are also used to make one of the engraving tools. Even if no one uses em they still kinda pricey off an npc, sure there are colorful red folk that may even buy em off you, cuz npcs seem to be irratated with some folks, and won't sell em a thing.

I have a fishing hut house up by the Lyceaum on Moonglow.

If ya still needing empty bod books, I have a chr. that can make ya some. NP

If ya need some fishin poles down there in S. Glow lemme know, I can get ya some of those too.

Do you have a mailbox on your porch for folks to drop stuff into, for you ?

Thanks very much. When my last house dropped I lost soulstones for both Jack Nickelson and a tamer named Trick or Moody Bleau - I had changed the name to Moody but don't recall when in the whole process. One of Jack's soulstones included about 60 Blacksmith along with mining I think which both could help out now.Thanks again.

I hate to say it but I'm too new again to know what a lot of stuff is or does these days - mailboxes included. If one can buy a mailbox for their house I will certainly do it if it works like you have described. Thanks and I might take you up on the BOD books.

Mailbox was 12th anniversary ticket item selection if I recall.

I think the house has to be set to public for folks to use the mailboxes to drop things off. Ya set em to owner or co owner only so folks can not remove items but they can drop items IN....in theory.

Just wanted to thank all for some of the positive vibes - it really is sorta brand new logging on here. Both of my chars have 11th - 12th anniversary gifts that I could get including Mailboxes I guess and I think I noticed a white leather dye tub available which is interesting - could be mistaken.

I think I did screw up on the soulstones. I now seem to recall that I dropped my Smith's skill on a fragment instead. My tamer does have a Soulstone with the name "unknown" on it. Not looking for any handouts - I've lost a lot of stuff in IDOC's over the years but have funds to do what I need to do right now.
