Afaik the Promotion token gives you 1 dye of choice. 2500 yen comes down to about, what, €12 or so?
Would be cheaper to just buy some gold for RL cash and then buy the dyes of your choice.

It's similar with the transfer tokens nowadays. You can buy them ingame for less than 10m, but they still cost $20 at the uogamecodes site. 10m costs you around €11/$17.5 if you buy from a broker.

Well I guess it's still good for players who need many transfer tokens or some of those legacy tokens.
2500 yen is around $25, so this promotion is still pretty good for players who dont have 7th char slot/extra storage codes yet. I think you can purchase these codes from japanese UOGamecode since UO codes are universal.

But what are the dye color choices in this special Japanese token promotion? That is the key. We can only get these dull, boring metal hues with almost no variation to them, by turning in our artifacts to the quest guy now. Once the player hoarded supply of the old dyes is gone, they are gone. If these tokens allow you to select the old dye colors, that is a big deal.

So, spend $25 on the Japanese EA online store in this 2 week period, and choose any of the Pigments of Tokuno, either phase.

Does this apply to North American/European shards as well if we buy something from the EA Japan site (can we even do this)??

At first, you should register on UO store. Whoever has UO account(s) can register, that is, you should type in your account ID and password of UO.

You can pay with credit cards, but I suppose players not in Japan can not use their cards on Japanese UO store. I can't buy things on UO gamecodes com, on the contrary.

Did you receive one multi-charge bottle of dye or a bottle with ONE charge of dye? The way athos translated it, you get to choose one color of the dye, but one would assume it means a full bottle of it. The old dyes had 50 charges in a bottle, the new have 10.
