Haha...ok really? I could care less if I win, its just a fun little competition...no hard feelings. However, when someone's about to win with a crappy artifact...that's just rediculous. Rico I have the sneaking suspision you are hiring people to vote for you, or if not, then it's your little followers voting for you.

You should be in third place, no question. I sold that kryss for 75mil, jaana's staff is what, a few 100k? If anything that EM sash could even win.

This is a little rediculous. Regardless of whether or not you like the person, you're voting on the items. If rico stole a ruined painting or something like that, I'd vote for him even though I despise him. If you're going to ruin the votes then don't vote I guess is what I'm saying. Either way, congrats I guess rico. If I wanted to I could get the 70 thieves in my guild to vote for me but I'm not doing that because it'd be lame.

Let's keep it fair guys.

P.S. I'm probably not going to be entering any steals for a while. My computer is shot it seems. I can't get on the internet no matter what I do. It's my computer because the internet works on my roommates' computers and my xbox. So I need to get it fixed before I can get on uo again.

Lol rico, I honestly could not care less. It's just a fun little competition. All I'm saying is that it's lame if you are telling people to vote for you. Regardless if it's 100k on siege, the kryss is better and you know it. So feel free to take this as a win since it means so much to you lol. It's just a little pathetic is all I'm saying, but it doesn't surprise me in the least.

Let us be honest here.....if you can honestly say that your steal is better then both:

1. An event item sash that indeed earned me a friendship with a person that just transfered from Chesapeake who then later helped me establish a thief on that shard.

2. Quite possibly the best PvP kryss steal (or even weapon steal) i've ever seen.



If people actually in fact "agree" with this, I want to see the logic. People should have to post their response as well on why they agree that the steal they voted for is in fact the best.


Somehow, I think we have a bit of fraud on our hands.....doesn't surprize either.

I thought the whole point of having a poll was have people decide what THEY think is the best steal. It would make sense that you guys would somehow be able to find fault with that. Why not make it "Self-proclaimed best st33l in UO evar!" instead of allowing people to vote on what they think is the "Theft of the Month"?

Also, don't talk to us about trolling. First of all, me and GED are part of the poll...so our input is valid. You however don't play UO anymore. You still troll these forums years later. So you can't call anyone a troll because it's all you are now in terms of this game.

Btw, you shouldn't be allowed to vote because you don't know what items are good and what are bad...because you DON'T PLAY.

I agree with you 100%. However, I see certain thieves on here who think they own this forum. When a new thief asks for help and god-forbid mispells the word "thief", instead of helping him they drive him away by bashing his grammar. Someone has to shut newbs like this up.

Also, lots of people (including thieves on this forum) believe that the thief is a dead class. I've set out to prove them wrong. Plus, if worst comes to worst, I can use a name change token...or a disguise kit, even though I hate them.

But yes...thieves like rico are known only because they post on every topic possible on these forums. If not for his posting, no one would know who the hell he is lol.

But for real, good job staying quiet...it's definetly for the best.

Roflcopters. I'll keep waiting to find it harder to get steals. The funny part is I have been playing UO as a thief for over 6 years. I have posted on various boards with this same name for even longer. Do people know I'm a thief? Sure they do...ever heard of the skill "stealth"? I use it all the time. It's hard for the marks to run from me if they can't even see that I'm in the area.

Maybe some day I'll find it harder to steal items...but as long as I'm playing, I doubt it. The ability to use soulstones has definately allowed me to adapt from time to time. If I notice players running around with good unblessed weapons in their hands...I throw on wrestling. If I notice more and more players with hiding in their templates, I use my detect and tracking skills to find marks. You won't find me trying to trick another player into coming into the safety of my house, or infiltrating guilds so I can steal from guildmates...I prefer to play in the field...I prefer my mark to have a chance to recapture their loot...and most of all you won't find me stealing items for the sole purpose of making some gold. The new breed of thieves are pathetic for the most part, especially those who can't take the time to learn how to spell our profession...la

Rico rico rico. You apparently weren't always like this. Look what i found on the hot boards:

When asked why a tailor was invited into S|S, then robbed, rico responds with:

I saw this post a while back on the hot boards, and when i saw what you said up there, i decided to dig it back up. After saying something like this, you should understand that all we are doing is adapting. That last paragraph even agrees with my signature. And you contradict yourself here by saying that "there are so many times in the evening that it's any fun to steal someone's garlic or bandaids." That means that you do care about the value of the items.

Have you decided to completely disregard all of your old beliefs and pretend that you have thought like this the entire time you've played uo? You're apparently just a hypocrite rico, and a sad one at that.

Don't knock different methods of stealing items when I'm on a PRODUCTION shard with INSURANCE...some of us actually try to keep this class alive as opposed to running to Siege like yourself, Rico. No one hear talks about your "method" and preferences in regards to how you steal items. I just to prefer to steal things that are worth my time.


And as a side note -- don't be upset that some of us steal items that yield us a profit...and sorry you don't know what it is like
