Talking to an old friend, and he makes a mention about UO, and the changes that has effected it nearly unplayable in his opinion. Perhaps not remember the great avid and wishful thinker Carlos Rossi.

The greatest time I've ever had playing this weathered game, was leading the biggest deception w/ some of the best players on this server. Now, unfortunately that's all that its become. Just memories, usually unforgotten, or perhaps forgotten intentionally.

Awkward it is, to even read Stratics. Let alone, view hundreds of threads to get an idea what has come and gone. A purpose that is in itself, not a purpose. Perhaps curiosity?

Well... I remember you, or at least your name! Wyrm is playing Darkfall. Sold up, left and haven't seen him since. Perhaps he still reads Siege/Stratics on occasion. Not sure. Some of the old VMP players are in my guild [TnT] now. Krystal, Monolith and Elvis, if you played with them.

Freja is still around some. She is no longer leading NEW, but helps out when she can. Shalimar is the NEW guild leader now.

Yes, the game has changed quite a bit over the years. There are quite a few changes I am not fond of, but there have been some good ones as well. I prefer things the way they were back when, but then again, I imagine a stagnant game wouldn't be much fun either. Everything changes and blessed are the flexible, for they never break when bent out of shape.

My name speaks volumes in itself. Perhaps as the nearly the best anti since the inception of darth/yoda team. There was Uther.. he was a pretty good anti and the worst GM to have EVER.

Then that other role of dominating as Grimmov, truth be it playing fair never appeased many folks. Again just things that most would see hardly worth remembering. Oh yes i could drag.. and drag.. and do drag perhaps?

But what has become of siege politics anymore? It seems to have pushed to being more friendly to grab players, rather then have that once offsetting mood when it was more of a self dependency encouraging players to learn quickly that this isn't a server without friends.

Never understood why of enabling newbies. It doesn't make the server look better.

You've probably seen CokedUpWerewolf on armour, that was his crafter, but Grimmov was a pk way back when. He'd sometimes do an office set up when he got bored (tables, chairs etc) out on Freja's lawn in SH and scare off the odd new player.
His eccentric way of speaking was more scary than he was, he also spoke in the third person the same as Bo does.

Correct. The only smith/miner/stealth/thief that actually worked out on specifically for this server. So defenseless though.

There was many days, when playing Grimmov.. When friends were'nt on to siege a large group and make massive lewts. That i do recall visiting new. Now that i do anyways.

Being the initially concerned player pre-aos about the bless deed when it came to siege. Spent weeks and months battling this devastation that would re-sculpture the way siege is to its day. Heck, even the mysterious crux whytefyre and his item bless deed that magically appeared out of nowhere to bless his gloves was a matter of controversy yet unexplained.

If you people only knew of what me and Carlos Rossi stormed up with Darth and Yoda. Kelmo knows.

Granted Yoda and Darth played a vicious exploitive roles throughout their years as the most annoying anti's to ever run into. But they played the game as fair as you and I.
