Items falling under the foundation of your house?

A guild mate had a crisis the other day, one of his old potted plants had fallen under the foundation. And no matter how he or I or the whole guild positioned ourselves we could not get it to budge. I sent a crisis ICQ to Sarsmi, and in her infinite patience and sheer goddess.. ness searched and found this thread.

I just thought I should post it in here so it doesn`t get swallowed again.

ok i found a solution to this problem so if it ever happens again try this:
First have a friend come into the house and log out on a placed teleporter next to/ on top of the item under the house. have your friend log in while you are in customize mode and they should be able to grab the item.

I'm sure on the 2d client you can also use the 'CTRL+Shift' buttons to bring up the highlight buttons then just cancel off the buttons till you get to the one you want. grab it if its not locked down, or raise it with a deco tool if it is.

The items that fall aren't locked down and won't raise up, and if you try to grab them you won't be able to pull them up because of the floor tile. It's a really dinky glitch, basically items that fall under the floor (I believe) are because they were placed on a transparent pixel - the floor tiles if you held the graphic up in front of a white screen would show white in spots. So they can work like a sieve.

This is the only work around I have ever heard of that works, and I think it takes some effort to get it to work properly! Probably someone can do it themselves if they have two accounts and two clients installed.
