Item Comparison?

Is there any way for the tool tips to compare an item either in your inventory or in loot to one you have currently equipped?

For example, as can be seen in this screenshot from another game.

in my UI there is a comparison if you use the advanced item properties

Hmm, would that be under User Settings > Item Properties > Enable New Item Properties Layout?

If so, I am not sure I understand how the comparison appears.

it's quite easy to understand:
each property has a symbol on the left and the symbol indicates the difference with what you are wearing.
Green arrow up: you gain/increase that property
Read arrow down: you lose/decrease that property
Equal sign: the property is the same
Gray diamond: the property is a description or has no effect.

On the right of each property you see the cap and how much you gain/lose in number.

That's pretty much all you can achieve in this game as comparison
