Item Bless Deeds As A Cleanup Reward Item

Apparently you will be able to obtain item bless deeds as a reward item during the upcoming cleanup event.

If you have an opinion one way or the other regarding whether these would be a good item to have on Siege and want to make sure the developers read your comments, you may want to post them in the Publish 72 feedback thread in the Test Center forum. You can find that thread here:

There's also an ongoing thread on the subject in UHall here: http://vboards.stratics.com/uhall/2...m-bless-deed-reward-reach-siege-perilous.html.

Yes, if you want to keep Siege free from these potential nightmare deeds then pls post in those threads. As history shows, if it doesn´t get fixed pre-publish it will probably not get fixed for a couple of years.

If we let them implement them here then Siege as we know it is pretty much over. :(

I'm ok with not having bless deeds on Siege. It is totallt contrary to not having insurance on the shard.

But, being a Siege newbie, I have a question. If I am able to earn a pair of nocturne earrings or 2% resist boots, will they be blessed on Siege?

i dont know what your worried about there not gonna let siege have a bless deed but it might get some of you stealthers and house hiders to come outta the houses or play in the open. i mean really its not like its gonna hurt siege one way or the other after all we are only a handful of players and most of us give armor back after we kill someone anyway

Only if you use your Siege bless option on them.

But vet reward robes remain blessed?

the vet robes only have resist, even if they weren't blessed CBD's as they exist here would work on them. I could care less about a few resists personally, and everything that can be CBD'd right now is purely for style purposes.

The problem with the item bless deeds is if they do make it here, it will be trivial to get enough to build a fully blessed, full arty/runic/enhanced suit (enhanced barbed suits can still potentially be better than anything you can imbue, and if planning to use a bless deed why NOT go all out and spend an initial few mil on it?). It also opens up being able to carry multiple high end weapons. (most people who use a secondary weapon on siege dont max it out, as it's lootable since you only get one bless). The end game of this is whoever gets them at this time can now run "prodo" type templates, and anyone who want's to fight them if you want to even have a chance in a straight fight you have to risk wearing a good 5 mil in gear that you lose if you die, where even if you were to gank him he loses nothing.

I probably have enough **** in my castle that if my account works by then I can turn in for at least 5-6 of them, lol.

People might come back, but would it not kill any new players from entering the shard? For instance, I have nothing to turn in at this point. People like me would be better off giving up than starting up on Siege. We would be unable to compete with those with IBDs, unless there was a continuing way to obtain them in the future. Those with deeds could run incredible suits with no risk. Those without them are effectively limited to replaceable gear and one Siege blessed item.

From my limited time on Siege, I think it would be best if IBDs don't make it to the shard. After all, no insurance is one of the key things that makes Siege different than the majority of prodo shards.

Most of us who were on Siege The 1st time around for item bless deeds didn't get them. We didn't really think it a big deal to bless a basic weapon and blessing things just wasn't something anyone thought of doing, (rather like the phoenix armour which was sought after by collectors later on...nobody really bothered with it at the time). Those who got the item bless deeds, blessed a vanq weapon or whatever they had at the time. One of the orcs had a blessed axe locked down at the fort for years. There were very few of these around.
You lost stuff and simply went to hunt for replacements.

However, they caused trouble later on...

A few players had saved deeds and it wasn't really until the 'age of stuff' that the 'potential' of these few saved deeds really had an impact, used together with the blue personal deed (which also caused a lot of hassle because they could be lost, some players didn't get one, etc., etc.) meant a few players had 2 blessed items while others had none.

They shouldn't be an option on Siege, unless they can only be used in the way a CBD is, clothing etc., because we'd have the same old story of newer players having to go without, and being at a disadvantage permanently.
