Found one two toned maroon hue box out of checking toons on every server.

The chateau, with moat, is on Siege. On Europa Terry and Petra got 'ensuite' - looks like Terry's gone and left the shower running too!
Just went through one account on all shards n got these boxes not sure if they're rare colours but they were quite few of them.

I figured the rare item would be a particular named lobster dinner. Mesanna perhaps? I've seen various EMs and devs but not her.
I've gotten lots of different colored boxes. The nicest one I got is probably the shiny white round one with a green ribbon. Most of the boxes are different though, so it's hard to say if it's "rare" or not. On my home shard (Chesapeake) I got 7 round boxes, 9 long boxes, and 1 square box. All were different colors:

I think Brutrin is a GM (we got things in the past with his name on them and the title that was with his name at that point was "GM.") Rakban might also be a GM. I was able to find old posts here in UHall that mentioned both of them acting in a GM capacity.,

Chatted with her a bit ago asked her if she knew something we didn't as there seems to be no "Mesanna" she said she plans to stay working for UO until they pull the plug if they will let her and she was doing fine.. though when I straight up asked her if she had "prepared" any Lobster..... she didn't answer...
So the mystery remains. But NO ONE I've spoken with has gotten a Mesanna. I've gone through 3 accounts so far and NO Mesanna..... which I find VERY odd. Usually by this point I've gotten at least a couple.

Some people aren't allowed to eat lobster and some people wouldn't want to hear the poor little lobsters screaming in pain when they're being boiled alive. These people wouldn't want their names on this item I don't think.

Personally, I am not celebrating any of these gifts until I see a post from Messana. I don't know her, but it's like when you meet a person for the first time, and you get a 1st impression. With her though, I have had 2nd, 3rd, and more impressions of "WOW." Here is a passionate person that cares about the game. I do not say this lightly, but my thoughts for her own happiness and peace of mind are more important than anything this game gives me, and I don't even know the lady. As for box colors, I don't personally think ANY are rare, of the first 42 I received, 36 were individual hues, the other 6 doubles. Some just look prettier than others. I suspect they will be like the turkeys from the horn of plenty, too many hues to bother with as a collection. So far they seem to fit into hue numbers 1 - 128 and everything in between.
Sorry the above was supposed to apply to CANDLE colors, not boxes, as for the boxes I don't see anything rare in the 70+ I have at the moment. I was told one I had was a 'rare' being a two colored box, but I kinda dispute this, I think all boxes of that type can be two colors, not necessarily 'rare'. I have about 50 of them so far that are unique to my collection, so I seriously doubt they can be classed as rare just because I only have one of them.

I dropped one in your mailbox. You need to empty that thing out, 43 items!I wanted a EM Borbarad on Drachenfels, I got one but its on the wrong shard! (Napa Valley)
Most of the boxes I've gotten are in the 1 - 101 hue range, but I've discovered 8 hues in the higher ranges: 1918, 2075, 2640, 2707, 2715, 2722, 2726 & 2728. Which means there's potentially 32 distinct graphics (4 graphics per box, 8 unusual hues):

at least aint got to worry about doing a box collection in each colour and each style... thats ended that one...thank god too.....i did the boxes last couple of holidays time but there was only 20 of each style then so ok.....muahhaaa...not 128 of each!!..lol
how about the candles then ??? any pattern with them.....or are they 1 to 128 as well.....kinda hoping they are as they make my eyes bleed trying to tell the shaded apart...i hate the shades....why they didnt use the old solid colours we had on the bells and statues etc is beyond me.. the flames would have been cool lit in the colour too....oh well nevermind.

I was horrified by checking all my chars again for special stuff this year, but since I love colors and somehow am addicted to boxes... *sighs*

doubt any of the boxs will be truly worth anything... theres far too many colours ..and we already have the cool neons and other boxes....sad we didnt get at least something worthwhile to collect ans interact xshard wise...really is a shame....nevermind
