It has been two months...

As of today, it has been two whole months since Chesapeake lost Ozog.

I've tried, but in all this time I haven't been able to summon up the desire to play again. I've just been waiting, in a kind of limbo, until everyone can get together to set up a permanent memorial. I understand it will still be a while before that can be done. Until then, I won't be around much. For that reason I'll soon be taking down the food vendor at the playground and moving items on my ship into bank boxes, so I won't have to log in to refresh or restock anything.

Just thought I'd let folks know, in case anyone happens to go looking for me.

I understand completely. I am in the same boat. I want to run a net toss in New Mag but am having a hard time logging in. He kept me in the game long after I would have left.

In my short time on Chessy I can't say I know Ozog outside of his post on Stratics. He sounds like a truly wonderful individual. Someone I would like to have meet. It sounds like the Pitmuck crew shared a truly rare bond. A bond that is rare in today's gaming world. Even though your hearts are still grieving the loss of the beloved Goblin King, please don't give up on the lands of Sosaria. Let the Goblin King live on through you and Pitmuck

Edit: After speaking with Phoenix today, I am feeling a little less conflicted. Although I can't play Icky any more, I will continue on with my other goblin as the playground curator. I know that it is important to all of us to keep his legacy alive.

It is still hard to believe. I always enjoyed joking around w/ him, and running as he tried to piss on my leg. I will never forget some of those memories. But he wouldn't want you guys to quit playing the game because of his passing. He'd want you to continue pushing the Goblin agenda, and logging in to have fun during your time off of the real world. I hope we all can find peace soon in his passing, but he left behind some really big (or small goblin) shoes to fill.

I keep reminding the people in charge that we'd like a nice permanent memorial for him, and I hope they can follow through with it. Because there aren't many people in game who come along touch so many different peoples lives. I personally would like to see two things, well maybe three. 1) A statue at the Pitmuck island. 2) A golbin statue w/ his name on it. 3) A statue at the bank that pisses on you as you walk by.

#3 should be at the luna moongate with a 2-3 piss radius so that anyone using the gate gets tinkled on.

And I'm happy that Lulu (sorry icky, you'll always be Lulu to me) has decided to stay. I hope someone from the goblin community steps up to lead Pitmuck... and while Ozog can never be replaced someone must fill at least some of the void that he has left. And while I know that Pitmuck has a habitual relationship with New Magincia... I was thinking that perhaps the Governor of Minoc could hold his hand out and perhaps bring Pitmuck under Minoc's protection.
