Issues with patching

I downloaded the "classic client" from the uo website, after starting it up and it spending a while patching I received an error. I kept restarting to see if that would resolve the issue but it did not.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled several times and the same issue happens.

Any ideas? There is no way I'm playing the enhanced client.

Three suggestions.

First, if you are using Vista and Windows 7, be sure to "Run as Administration."

Second, try running uopatch.exe instead of client.exe or UOAssist. That seems to help me.

Finally, if you still can't get it to work, delete everything in your patch folder and re-attempt to patch via uopatch.exe.

I guess I'm just not use to vista, that and haven't played in years lol.

I just downloaded the client (UOSAClassic_7_0_7_1.exe) and installed it. But right now the patcher stopped with an error:

I'm on WinXP SP3. I deleted the patch dir and started with uopatch.exe. Nothing did help.
