Someone told me if it doesn't have SSI it's too slow to be any good... but I'm not sure if this is something an archer-mage can use?

What's nice about it is SC no -, HLD and DI. Sadly, I'm afraid you're not going to find a market for this, even among mage/archers. Though the mana leech intensity is nice, leeches on bows were nerfed a long time again. More importantly, the fatal flaw is really the speed of the weapon.

Mage archers, in particular, must carefully divide their stats between str (hp, survivability), mana (spells, healing), and stam (weapon speed). Even with a buttload of stam increasing items and a bare minimum ammount of mana, there's just no way for this weapon to be workable.

I only count four properties. Perhaps it can be imbued with SSI in the future.

But yes, without SSI, any bow except repeaters and magical short bow is useless.

With one exception that I've never seen on a bow.
If the bow had mage weapon, spell casting, no penalty and balanced, then it wouldn't need so much SSI (but would still be more than welcome).

I do have a similar bow to yours I take out every once in a while on my necro-mage. It's a fun weapon. It's nearly useless if you're serious about the fight, but it's still fun.

Thanks for the appraisal! The item system's got so complicated that I don't even know what I should keep and what I shouldn't...
