Is this a decent Sampire weapons?

I am new to the sampire, but I have been reading as much as possible. Everyone keeps mentioning Runeblades, Leafblades, Ornate axes and such but I was wondering if this would be a decent weapon.

It is a no-dachi

hit mana leech 52.
hit life leech 62.
hit lower attack 50.
luck 133
swing speed increase 30.
damage increase 40.


I have been trying to get a good one with HSL but have not had much luck as of yet. I also have this as an option also a No-dachi

hit mana leech 57.
hit lower defense 44.
luck 40
swing speed increase 30.
damage increase 49.

It's a nice weapon, but as you already know, HSL is important. Really need both HML and HSL. Should work great, though, until you come across a similar one with HSL.

But let me re-emphasize, very nice no-dachi.

Since you're swords, you might also look into weapons with the whirlwind special (e.g., twinkling/radiant scimitars). I love spamming whirlwind on my sampy.

Well a buddy of mine made this hammer pick... problem is I think they might be way to slow since the speed is 3.75. I could use it even though im swords though.

Yeah, it's a little slow, but with enough stamina increase, you could make it work. Pretty nice one; good damage increase.

Keep in mind, you may not can use all your bush skills with a UBWS weapon.

Hrmm ok thanks, atm i am using a Soul seeker so I am trying to upgrade but being on origin it isn't to easy since there are so few players to buy from.

Aww...well, for what it's worth, the soul seeker is def worth using against reponds!

Haha ya it works. What might be a decent location to try farming a drop? I just came back recently so I am playing catch up.

Well, soul seeker owns the painted caves. You can get minor arties as drops from there. Easy money, too.

If you're into anti-virtue drops, dispise will be your best bet for humanoids.

For champs, the ratman spawn (obviously).

I keep hearing about the painted caves, where are they located if you dont mind me asking?

Hrm....well, the closest town is Trinsic. This map might help:

The Painted Caves is where the map says "waterfall".

In the bottom two chambers, troglodytes spawn. Trogs are easy and drop 400 gold ea. In the third, upper chamber, Lurg and Grobu spawn (one of each at a time). Trogs are yawn-worthy, but Lurg and Grobu can be quite tough. That said, a sampire with a soulseaker (spamming whirlwind) can probably take Lurg, Grobu, and a few trogs at once fairly safely, assuming you have the right suit and hp.

That no-dachi would still absolutely murder Dread Horn, especially with 120 bushido, parry, and swords + 45 DCI. Feint + HLA FTW

Since this thread started about sampire weapons, may i ask what do you think about an elven machete with 34HSL, 63HML, 11HCI, 1FC, 27DI, or BAttle Axe 46HSL 27HML 7DCI 25SSI 20DI ??

The leeches on the elven machete are nice, as are the other mods, but you really want 40+ di on your weapons. :-(

I've soloed Dread and stuff tons of times with just the Essence of Battle and Primer on Arms. Hell I've used a Soul Seeker with only 50% DI.

jut to let everyone know i have 70 tactics and only 85 anatomy on my sampire....when i use a weapon with no di at all i do considerable damage as long as i reach perfection and keep enemy of one up.


stamina leech is a must on a sampire.....using refresh pots doesnt cut it...ive tried it....to be honest id rather have stamina leech with no mana leech, than mana leech with no stamina leech.....as long as im swingin at full speed im alive from leeches....my hci is high enough to not use LS
