Is there another "side" to this???

For seating, would you like all the current seating able to face all 4 ways?

  • No, I want to be limited in which way I face

As a crafter I have a big question, why is it most of our furniture only has two facing? It would be nice to be able to make chairs and benches face all four directions. What happened was it just too hard or was it a graphics issue? I personally don't care if I look at the back of a chair or the back of the bench I would rather be able to face it the direction I want. We get the feeling that sometimes those doing the artwork are just doing the minimum to get by. Like the rustic benches great item, poor execution. If they were able to face all four directions people who run taverns for role-playing could use the rustic benches to make booths, but because the only face south and east we can't do that. We have a lot of chairs a do the same thing only face two directions. I totally don't understand why they did this.

So if you're going to give this items like this in the future please make sure they can face all four directions otherwise don't bother.

I agree, it's like the "lord british" throne....only faces S or E, severely limits what one can do with it. On PAC we built a studio for our "deal or no deal game"....the banker's box where I sit is S of where the contestants are...hadda find SOMEWAY to sit facing N...got lucky and remembered from my travels that you can sit on a LOG facing N or S......went and bought a rubble log for the studio, and solved THAT problem....but you're right, this "facing" issue vis a vis chairs has been ignored for TOO LONG!
