I thought I remembered a long time ago that the UO website had a link where you could view a list of the characters currently active on each shard. So you could see how many Absinthe's existed on Atlantic for example. Is that true? I want to create a few new chars with some creative names, but I want to see if *I* thought of the names myself or if they're in my head because I ran by someone with the same name a while back and subconsciously filed the name away, etc...
Last night I created a temp char named Viper to collect Casca points ~ when I popped up in New Haven I was standing next to another freshly created char named Viper. we looked at each other and laughed. granted, that's a fairly common name. but it reminded me that I don't want to name a character something unique (imo) and find myself standing next to the original one at Luna bank.
