Is there a limit to bonded pets?

Hi does anyone know if there is a limit to how many bonded pets you can have?

Iv been taming the chicken lizards now and have 16 bonded in total but the ones i tamed last Saturday still wont bond.

No limit that I've seen.

I have 18 bonded chookems myself, plus a gorilla and a giant rat. No taming/lore.
