The IRC isn't associated with Stratics any longer. It had always been managed separately and decision was made by our owner to not keep it in the fold in favor of newer technology such as Google Hangouts, and Twitch.tv which allows a more personal interaction. I myself enjoy IRC, and still use it, but at the same time I understand and respect the decision to step away from it.
