Is the Dev Team still beheaded or have they hired a new head for the team?

What is the latest on the Dev team Head Producer position? I realize Cal's shoes are going to be hard to fill but I've seen no word on a replacement.

I'm going to assume that the producer of DAoC or WAR is stepping in to oversee day to day operations until a suitable candidate is found.

In most business situations where someone leaves under their own volition in such a position, a replacement is often found before they move on.

P.S. EA/MYTHIC: I have an IQ over 80, can I be the next dev?

I R reel good at UO. been playin for over 12 years. HIRE ME to be a producer. i can work via correspondance.

They are both pretty busy, so I doubt it. Camelot has a big publish coming plus it's their 10 anniversary, and Warhammer has the arena game that they are having to manage. And Warhammer has a lot more angst-ridden fanbase than UO.

I'm guessing that there wont be a new person. Someone will just do their present job, plus "produce" UO.

The workload will be less than before, because the Account Management system will generate all the Excel reports that management wants anyway.

In today's economy of 'same pay, do more' I can only respectfully disagree.

EA is well known for being a harsh taskmaster.

Burn 'em out, send 'em to Zynga
Cute, but actually there are two companies out there known for being the best at headhunting the best in the industry... BioWare and Zynga. Players may/will disagree, but from the industry's perspective... it is true.

I'm betting the secretary for the Warhammer Online Producer gets the UO Producer Job :danceb:
