also if it is can existing accounts be used to play for free or only new accounts? if so and my ac**** is not subscribed/ activated is i have not played in awhile how does that work?

Only new accounts get the 14 day free trial. To play, either create a new account, or if you have an existing account, you will need to add your billing information on your account and re-subscribe.
