is SDI capped for PvM?

I've never played an SDI mage for PvM so I've decided to try it out. But before I start investing money into the suit I've put together, Id like to know if its capped.

I checked out the stratics calculator and it doesn't add above 61 SDI. So any confirmation of a cap would be nice, thanks

and you never will. that is a purely AoS phenomenon. you would have loved it though.

Just curious, how would you estimate the difference in damage with/and without SDI against higherend creatures or spawn that you commonly fight.

i saw a disco. scribe eval. necro mage with a ton of sdi. one hit kill an artic oger lord.......... it was crazy.

bard+mage+sdi is really good in UO. they need to un-nerf it actually

It's not capped, but I'm almost certain they stealth nerfed it with diminishing returns.

Before that one publish I was frequently killing demons in 1 or 2 spells. After the publish it was taking 3 or 4. That's with 150+ SDI, though and a super slayer scrappers. To get SDI as high as I have when I do that, you need to use arcane empowerment with a lvl 6 focus and a crazy SDI suit with super slayer scrappers. Before the publish, I could kill semidar with 5 or 6 spells. After the publish I was hitting her for like 40 less dmg a hit.

I don't think you hit diminishing returns until your SDI gets ridiculously high, but you certainly hit diminishing returns at some point.

SDI SDI...nope...no cap to my knowledge. You are only limited by items and to some degree skill.

20 sdi crystalline
12 sdi bracelet
15 sdi glasses
10 sdi bracers
5 sdi pendant
10 sdi legs
25 sdi book

So with *normal* items you are limited to 97 sdi from items, and 10% from inscribe.
