I think we all misread the thing under live were something will happend may 2nd and last week in May. this publish might hit a shard near us May 2. they are probably going to want to give it a weekend at least on test and a weekend on origin that will leave us with a may 2nd early morning at maintance. we also must check on wording early next week on this would quality as friday this week if after her time for writting the five on friday and i am sure the patch notes will have at least five answers so kills 2 birds with on stone. and we will have it announced in april so that covers the tba for april .

Speaking as someone who plays a healer/support character alot... yeah that would be nice. It's really annoying tossing bandages and heals and cures .... and being so busy you don't realize it didn't work until they die. Sucks at places like Magicina and Moonglow etc. Trammel rule areas only though, in Felucca ... that's part of the risk there.

TBH I don't have an issue with the current system, if you can't hack the inconvenience of nobody rezing you, how on earth are you going to survive faction rezkillers and other fun in faction PvP?

Anyway.....Not for her (I have her on ignore for a reason) but for the rest of you readers, the answer as to why I want to be rezzed/healed in Trammel and yet be in Factions is thus.

-I can't fight Factions in Trammel.

-I do high-level PvM, such as Doom and Peerlesses and this Moonglow event, with some frequency. PvM is very much my first love, but I am attracted to Factions for RP reasons. I was in them before and did reasonably well.

Would I join Factions if I could fight all over the place, but also couldn't be rezzed or healed anyplace?

50/50 chance I'd say.

Would I join if I could be healed/rezzed outside of Felucca? Hell yes.

No, I obviously don't expect that fact alone to cause them to change it.

Why Wench keeps wanting to insult me I don't know....Maybe I offended her somehow when I was on Europa some years back. Maybe she was in the Apple Infantry and I killed her at a Harrower spawn or something.

Either way.....Regardless of Wench's insults, the real reason I want the change made are above.

Yes, I know those jokes well, I am a Network Engineer I am always having to feed the hamsters and buy new ones to keep the users happy. The key is to feed the hamsters just enough cocaine to keep them running but not so much that their hearts exploded. Its a delicate balance.

Yes, that is a real annoying factor.

And the other guy brought something up about reds.. a Faction person and a PK are two different things. PKs killed other innocent players.

This is another thread and if you remember you weren't so sweet and angelic to me in our last discussion either. Let it lay and move on... If I wanted to insult a person directly I would do it to their face, which this clearly was not. Had it been I'd have received a warning from someone, and quite rightly so. Which I haven't.

I made a simple statement that it's not IMO a concern that players can't res in Tram when they'd be factioning in Fel and subject to all the reskilling that can often occur around a battle area. Because a quick run to the healers is something you become used to doing on both facets, without thinking about it. Stat loss is more annoying but part of the system. Players do no fight nice in factions, so a little inconvenience in Tram is not going to concern you after that. I had that when my main PvM char was in a warred guild and you just get used to it.

And it's obviously best to use a char who is solely for PvP just in case you go red while factioning too.

But I'm likely talking to myself here. Ach well...

I understand where you are coming from. And back 8-9 years ago, when factions were implemented, the 'no heal' rule was less of a burden, since there were many people in factions. Hundreds. There would be faction people around 24/7.
Nowadays there are maybe 15 active people in factions on my shard, divided over 3 factions.
Getting a rez in Tram does become a huge task now.

Oh and the real Tram folk, just leave factions and leave their char on the warhorse.

TBH I still tend to run for the healers unless I think someone's got time to res, all the times I've seen a good citizen die mid res make me feel bad

There's that embarrassing silence when his ghost pops up beside yours and you feel like crawling under the floor lol.

Hopefully we pull a good number back into factions now it's a bit more fixed. I think there was a mention of some faction rewards too, or maybe I dreamt it lol. Got 1 char in training then my thief is joining once I get her ninja done. Lot of stuff to re-learn then I'll possibly put a crafter in too for good measure. I'm not sure we'll get back to the big battles of days past, but Europa has a pretty decent PvP guild following, so hopefully they join factions too. I'll do my share of encouraging more newbies in too, as I think CoM might be one of the smaller EU factions.

Can you still ride a faction horse after quitting the faction? I was under the impression that you could have them stabled and claim them, but not ride. Could be wrong though, but I'm sure it was changed because of said posers

I'm not sure that even the faction title shows up in Tram now.
