Is it me or is MAG and the plants dang ugly

Well now that the plants are coming up in a totally random disorganized pattern.... dang its ugly. Nice to see colors vomited everywhere.

Cant wait to see the ugly plants around the houses.

Argh.

Its player driven so why don't you, as a player, petition other players not to pick such bloody awful seeds to plant? Probably a good percentage of them were like me and bugged their guildies for any seed or just stuck in the first one they looted. I'm sure over time that most of the flowers will die off as people get bored of the novelty, until only a few dedicated gardeners are left overseeing Magincia (hopefully ones with good taste).

Hehe, yes. The lack of planning and whatnot does leave the whole thing looking uncoordinated and a bit ugly. The biggest issue though I think is the coloured plants. The entire plant is hued, not just parts of it, which looks terrible imo. And some of the hues are a bit garish.

I've seen some funny examples. On one spot, someone has planted a bright white tall hedge. Just one section! It looks hilarious.

Most growers plant for the pedals thorns or dust. The other is chance for plant of black or white seeds from x pollinating. None this happens when a plant is grown in the ground of Mag. It acts as a mutant that cannot be pollinated or produce seeds.

So unbundle your undies and give it time. It will take less time for players to get bored with this addition then it took them to code it.

Now if they snuck in a 1 in 25000 chance of a unique plant growing instead of what you planted. Then all bets off seeing an end of the plants. Not to worry, the code mages have no clue where players G spot is at.

All the green trees and green grass and then there is these damn fugly white and blue plants, if i win a house i want to be able to buy a lawn mower to mow the damn fugly plants around my house

The trouble is that you can only plant one seed. So if you want to make a nice little coordinated patch you have to have other characters plant one too. and they all have to tend their own plant which is kind of annoying! It would be nice if anyone on the same account could tend the plants. Maybe we would get nicer "gardens".

I have to agree though, I think the novelty will wear off pretty soon. Hopefully they are still planning to add more buildings and decorations to Magincia

It would have been nicer if the plants we could have planted were all *natural* color, instead of puke neons and the like too.

So there ya are walkin New Magincia, finding horrid aqua next to fire next to purples next to, yellow blues greens neons blacks whites etc. all mishmashed about looking more like a gardened patchwork quilt of the rainbow warriors, or the [color co-ordinated imparied] ones. EWWWWWWWW ! I mean seriously I do not mind an aqua plant if it is near WHITE, or blazey fire if it is not plopped next to an aqua etc. TISK TISK a florist's floral, nightmare.

I wonder though if they thought thru the assorted plants cuz a tiny lil spot I was running thru, suddenly had a blockin hedge in my way. I could care less if it was purple or black or white or polka dotted, more than now a new plant was up, out of the main flower beds, thus smacked up ie matured, that has now become a BLOCKER, in walkin there.
