Is it just Archery???

Do all melee weapons miss as often as bows? Dexers that get close to me dont seem to have any trouble hitting most every time yet I miss a lot! With 120 arch and over 45 HCI and 44 LDC(not sure if it enters in to hit chance) I often miss chars 4 and 5 times in a row and some chars are near invulnerable. I know archery has been over nerfed and was wondering if all weapons were as bad?

Yes, missed an Ettin five or six times once being GM Swords with a sword.
Sometimes I think that worn weapons hit less still, though they removed that code I think....

I'm sure that just as often you hit 4 or 5 times in a row too. Oh well.

happens to me constantly with 120 fencing, every now and then, i miss between 5-8 times in a row, then it goes back to normal....

this was pointed out 12 months ago and was spose to be sorted out, and never was.

I sometimes miss 9-11x with 110 swords and 100 tactics/anatomy, and my Archer has been known to also be able to miss the broad side of a barn 5-7x in a row with 115 archery.

On the plus side Im quite gratefull when I meet a Balron or Dragon that needs glasses also.......

Ya something always has seemed a bit screwy with archery when compared to melee weapons. Others have mentioned this for a long time now. Not sure if it really is or not, but it just feels like it doesn't hit as well to me.

That has been an issue for years ... even before Elder and Legendary titles were available. I have 115 Swords, 115 Tactics, 100 Anat and have to run off to heal because that @#$@#%# dragon will not drop ... because I'm missing the darn thing and it <font color=red>isn't</font color=red> missing me! Jeez, that peeves me.
