Is HCI messed up ??

I've got to ask this. For the last 3-4 days now this has really bugged me. I have had 2 of my old 115 Swords/Tact Anat warriors out goofing at the spawns. Both on different accounts, one has 43 HCI on the other 41, one with parry (115) the other with 0. Using a Rad Scim or Kat, either, doesn't matter, he misses / whiffs like there is no tomorrow.. Is there something I am missing here (ya pun intended ) for the life of me I can't figure out why I can't hit $quat consistantly.. may hit 2 times them miss 6!

I know what you mean. I am training a new archer who by transferring archery skill to a dexxer I hadn't used in about two years. I transferred 113.2 archery, ate a 120 archery scroll, and went out to poke holes in Onis for skill gain. I kept wiffing even while using Lightning Strike and 43 HCI.

Now, two days later at 116 skill and 30 HCI through armor and jewelry changes, I am hitting MUCH more often. There seems to be quite a difference between 116 and even 115 skill, even using HCI jewelry.

So, I don't think it's as much the HCI and it is skill based.

As WildWobble mentions below, I added M&S glasses for the 30 HLD, and it does wonders!

Nope not at all the thing your missing is HLD that is what any serious warrior finds as a must have mod put some mace and shield glasses on or find a weapon with it and you will be hitting nearly every strike.
