My bard on Siege is 91 Provo and has completed the quest for Provo. However he can't seem to gain by using Inspire. I know I have a Bard on Pac that used the Masteries to gain... Sup with that?

Hello,
It's been a while since I trained provocation. If I remember correctly, you only gain when you start playing the song. Also, when you take your skill out of the soul stone, you don't gain on the first cycle of RoT.

Thx Pirate,

I tried again and on the 7th successful attempt it worked... Not sure why it takes multiple attempts with Inspire and yet gain every time without fail when using Provo.....

I trained Provoke up to 105 with a gain each first attempt. Now I am working Discord and it takes 2-3 attempts before gain. The only difference is I'm wearing + Discord items until real skill is up, so maybe that skews the gain check somehow? FWIW

I can confirm that the mastries will work to gain in provo, peace, and disco with ROT. As Roberts said, you just have to cast it a few times - this is increasingly true as you raise skill above 100.

Bard skills are WAY easier to gain in once you hit 90. :)
