Nothing in game has "worth". It's a game, and nothing is really owned by you. Your just renting.
Posts like that show the greedy nature of players today. Pissed off about them bringing back Tokuno dyes? Really? Why? I think I know why.
They should be brought back as a gold sink or as content, and nobody should get pissed off about that. It's content that everyone can enjoy, and get a chance to get something they want. Not something that players can hoard one time and feel elite for having doing so.
I got a couple bottles of the rum red and the shadow black, as they were the ONLY colors I liked. I can't fathom why anyone should get pissed off about it if they bring them back. I certainly don't feel special for having them, nor should you if your intentions are in the right place.

Whether or not an in game item "worth" something or not is determined by players. If someone pays rl money to buy them, then the items worth something to the buyer.
The whole arguement is meaningless without knowing how much EA will sell the pigments in U.S. If EA sells them for $9.99 a bottle, hardly anyone will conplain about the devaluation. If the price is $2.99 a bottle, things will be quite different.
TOT1 pigments are desirable items. Shall we just recreate/mass produce all the desirable items (doom arties, high end runic hammers, etc. and now TOT1 pigments) to satisfy the players, or shall we keep some special items still left in UO? It is just a game, but you can interpret that in both ways.
