Is a pure warrior any good in pvp these days?

Its been so long I wanted to make either a swords or fencing warrior with either chilvary or healing but can a plain dexer hold there own now days or is that a thing of the past?

That's exactly the build I play on my main dexxer. Melee archers have expressed frustration at my parry, necro mages are saddened by my resist, 120 healing/anatomy with enhanced bandages is awesome. Imbue up a slayer sword with some leeches and it makes a good pvm template as well.

I mean... you can survive reasonably well with a pure parry dexer but you're never going to kill anyone. You need burst damage or some type of range to kill any decent player.

True I get a lot more assist then kills, by a ratio of approximately 10-1. I am ok with that though, it is all about getting the team kill.
I dont need the ego boost from getting the money shot! I love the fact that it takes 4 or 5 people to run me down and kill me!
