Invisible pets - GM's couldn't fix?

I logged in this morning to try and bond with my high plains boura I tamed last week. When I took it out of the stable it didn't appear anywhere. I checked the stable again thinking I had made a mistake but he wasn't there either. When I look at the follow slots it shows 3/5 and I have no other pets out.

I know it is out of the stable because when I log out and in I see the name of my boura at the bottom left corner.

Just to test this bug out further I tried taking my low plains boura out as well. Of course he is now "invisiable" as well and I have 5/5 slots and nothing to show for it :wall:

I tried paging a GM but he just referred me to the bug report website and email address. I will of course kindly submit the needed information but in the meantime I can't really use my tamer since I don't have a mount or pets. I would like to have my pets back but if they need to be sacrificed so I can play my tamer again then so be it.

Anyone have any ideas? The only thing I can think of that may be causing this is that I was unable to patch yesterday due Vista being annoying with permissions issues. Which I still haven't been able to fix yet... grrr

It's a real bug. Just on 8th september, after upgrading the account my frienzed ostard was invisible. But mine was invisible only is mounted. I've already report the bug. There are two, similar. Pets invisible if mounted but visible if dismounted and pets invisible at all :(

Where can I get and invisible GD? Does the pet still follow your commands? Can it attack anything? Would be hard to tell if it was taking damage. Only attempt this on a bonded pet. PKers look out. I was just killed by an invisible sheep in Fel. LOL

I'd find out if it's just you that can't see it, or if it's everybody.

Find out of you can get it using the targeting macros (targetNext, or whatever, see if you get the target over something invisible).

I pulled out my XP laptop which patched fine and now I can see them without any issues so apparently not applying the patch is what is causing this.

Now, patching my Vista PC without having to reinstall UO again is the next challenge :(
