Invincible Restless Souls?

Yeah.. been seeing these as part of the spawn from the Vanguard attacks, and have seen a few lying dead here and there, but never seen anyone actually able to kill them.. or even deal any damage whatsoever to them.. and you can't even difrectly target them to attack.. and they don't seem to vanish properly when the Vanguard dies, either.. so what's up?

have managed to kill a few with auto defend on my archer. And she always carries BRs with her.

I always have blackrock, and have never done damage with an autodefend. Maybe its the Archery?

Do you use the new targeting system? Plus it only happens when I get to Cove and have not attacked anything yet.

They seem to have a "timer" of sorts freshly spawned ones are untouchable but after awhile they become killable.
I have personally killed 3 myself with a rune beetle.
Still annoying as all heck tho.

It's because they're in the guard zone. Draw them to the docks if you want to kill them. Even though they don't do damage to you in the guard zone, they can still disrupt spells.
