Interesting ingredient, what is it?

Yesterday i killed some kind of Void creature i hadnt seen before...looked like an octopus dragging itself around (high HP too). Forgot the name. Anywho, he dropped a "Void Core", anyone what it is and what it is used for? It is not on the Imbuing ingredients list. i have tons of Void orbs and Void essence's...but this is the first "Core" i find. i did see one other on sell in luna for 600k, but still no idea what it is good for. Anyone?

I have one too ... they are a mystery ingredient. There is a tier of rare ingredients whose use is either unknown or not yet activated (void core, slith's eye, etc).
