insite into Japanese and Korean shards population

i was going to start picking away at picking up some shard shields overseas and thought id start with one for each of the Korean ones and one from the Japanese ones.

i know all 3 Korean ones are pretty dead. so any one of those is as good as the next i guess.

but does anyone know which of the Japanese shards is the busiest?

i know when i went and made a mage on every shard that Asuka and Izumo seemed to be buisy.

if anyone has some insight into this and would like to share that would help me out a lot.

I play Asuka occasionally and it has a health population. However, communication may be difficult. I believe Kanji is the prevalent language/type although I know others are also used. I have never played Izumo. Good luck

I have played on the asian shards for years and still own homes on Hokuto , though i have had homes on the others for years as well till just reciently.
The Population cant be judged by sight as most of us here in the usa are sound asleep when they get to romping around.
Infact a guild has asked me to clear a char for their guild for guild runs, they have an english speking division with alot of western foriegners. hehe
They dont hang in banks but are serious players and i have found they dont use the chat like we do, but do keep channels on it for general calls.

I would not be surprised if there are the exact numbers as shown on the list above...

I am not sure if the n-values of quest participants in 2012 displays the true amount of active players. I would say: no. But you can easily estimate the proportions based on these values. Just add the totals of all shards and divide them with this sum. By this you might get a raw percentage indicating the Population share of each Shard.
